They have officially announced changing the size and aspect ratio of the standard video player on the site.

To get better quality video they are expanding the width of the page to 960pixels.

Now we can get good quality video.

Gmail Updates...

All would have seen gmail new look, if we dont like the new themes we can stick with old version,but gmail has removed gmail chat from old version.

In Gmial many people haven't notice some unique facilities that gmail gives you.

Google guys have come up new themes for gmail ealier it was introduced in Orkut also.

Seems new guy has joined in google playing with themes for each google products. :)

Gmail has launched 30 odd themes & there’s a shiny theme with chrome styling, another one that turns your inbox into a retro notepad, nature themes that change scenery over time, weather driven themes that can rain on your mailbox, and fun characters to keep you in good company.

Google New Feature - Search Wiki

Google has launched SearchWiki, a way for you to customize search by re-ranking, deleting, adding, and commenting on search results. SearchWiki will allow you to modify and save your results for specific Google searches. Now, you can move the sites that appear in rankings up or down, take them out altogether, leave notes next to specific sites and suggest new sites that are not already in the results. These modifications will be shown to you every time you do the same search in the future. SearchWiki is available to signed-in Google users only. You can view all these changes for the same search in near future.

hough, this feature of Google is good for users to personalize their search & save their time for the same search in near future, but it can be an opportunity for spammers to exploit the search. Though, SearchWiki comments and re-rankings will have no affect on the Google algorithm and how it ranks sites for the general Google audience.
